As an artist, my work explores the complexities of human emotions and relationships through the use of stuffed animals. In my charcoal drawings, I depict these toys in forced psychological states, using them as a metaphor for the hidden turmoil that often exists within our personal lives.

Through the use of these stuffed animals, I aim to mask the identity of the people in my life, representing the facade of perfection that we often present to the world. The intended effect is to reveal the underlying emotions and struggles that exist behind the surface, highlighting the fact that things are not always as they appear.

My work invites the viewer to look deeper and question what is truly happening beneath the surface. The use of charcoal allows for a raw and emotive expression, drawing attention to the darker, more complex aspects of human nature.

In my charcoal drawings, I hope to evoke a sense of empathy and understanding for the struggles that we all face in our personal lives. Through the use of stuffed animals, I aim to shed light on the hidden turmoil that exists within us all, encouraging the viewer to look beyond the surface and see the true complexity of human emotions.
